In 1994, she graduated with honors, marking the beginning of her remarkable medical career.

Completing her Family Medicine residency at Rush Pres St. Lukes/Illinois Masonic Family Practice Residency program, Dr. Armstrong's skills and dedication were quickly recognized. In 1997, she served as the chief resident, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to family medicine.
In 1997, Dr. Armstrong embarked on her practice journey at Dekalb Family Medicine, and her remarkable contributions led her to be selected as a Top Doc Recipient by Dekalb Medical Center.
**Practice Ownership:**
In 2004, Dr. Armstrong took a significant step in her career by purchasing the practice from Dekalb Medical Center. This transition allowed her to further shape the practice according to her vision and commitment to quality healthcare.
**Leadership and Community Involvement:**
Throughout her career, Dr. Armstrong has continued to excel in leadership roles and community engagement. In 2016, she became a part of the Emory Health Network, where she currently serves as the Chief of the Department of Family Medicine at Emory Dekalb Medical. Her dedication extends beyond her practice, as she has served in the Congress of Delegates for the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, the Advisory Board for Cigna Health Spring, and as the Medical Director for the Hope Through Health Clinic at the Ray of Hope Christian Church.

In addition to her thriving medical career, Dr. Armstrong is a dedicated wife and a loving mother of two daughters, Lauren and Trinity.
